Simplify alternatives
Last checked October 30, 2026. Prices change. Read each company's page before you buy.
Simplify describes two layers. A free layer fills forms and tracks jobs. A paid layer adds tailoring, cover letters, answers, and credits that are counted by the week. People searching for an alternative are often deciding between help at the keyboard and a team that sends the form. This page is that decision. It is not a second copy of the price table.
Where Simplify's price actually lived
Simplify meta description and homepage feature list. “Your personal AI talent agent for job seekers. Job matching, resume tailoring, networking, and tracking. Free Copilot autofill and a tracker; Simplify+ adds tailoring, cover letters, answers, and Autopilot.” Source
Stay if the free layer is the product
You want a free autofill and a tracker, and you will pay only when you want the weekly credits. That is the shape Simplify describes. ApplyASAP's plan list has no free plan. Replacing a free tool with a paid sender is not an upgrade. It is a different bill for a different job.
You still want to be the person at the form. Autofill is help while you submit. ApplyASAP's description is that you are not the one who submits. If the annoyance is a form you are willing to finish yourself, autofill is the relevant feature. If the annoyance is having to be there at all, you are shopping for a sender.
You want the tailor step bounded in writing. The Simplify lines we checked never say whether tailoring may add a skill or a title that is not already on the resume. We are not asserting that it does. We are saying the prohibition is not on the page, and ApplyASAP's prohibition is.
Autofill, a weekly credit, and a sender
Weekly credits are not a monthly send count
The paid Simplify tier includes credits counted by the week. ApplyASAP counts applications by the month, and the team sends them. Stacking a weekly credit on a monthly application total would invent a single "how many jobs" number neither company published. The comparison leaves the units alone. So does this page.
The pricing address was not the source
On the day we checked, Simplify's pricing address was not a page we could use. The figures the comparison quotes come from Simplify's help center, which is their own site. If you are restless because a pricing link failed, look again before you treat the miss as permanent. Help-center prices go stale, and so does this note.
Filling a form is a different job from sending it
Autofill completes fields while you are there. "The team sends it" means the submit happens without you at the keyboard, and the account keeps the resume that went out. You can prefer either. Calling one a defective version of the other is how a search for alternatives turns into a false comparison.
ApplyASAP only if you wanted the sender
If the missing piece is a team that sends the application, answers the questions, and writes a cover letter when the job asks for one, ApplyASAP is one product that says it does those things, on a monthly plan, with no free tier. If the missing piece is a free tracker, stop. ApplyASAP will not become that tracker. Simplify's prices, in Simplify's units and from the help-center source, are on the comparison rather than repeated here.
ApplyASAP is a product of Glearn Technologies, San Francisco. Every plan includes a resume tailored to each job, the application questions answered for you, and cover letters when a job asks for one.
The public answer to “Will you exaggerate my resume?” is: We put your best foot forward. Most people undersell themselves, so we write up the skills and scope your role and level usually carry, in the words of each posting, and show you every skill we add so you can take any off. We never change your employers, dates, degrees or titles, and never invent numbers, certifications or people you managed.
- Starter. $9.99 a month for 100 applications every month, early bird, regular $19.99 a month.
- Pro. $24.99 a month for 300 applications every month, early bird, regular $49.97 a month.
- Aggressive Job Hunter. $99.99 a month for 1,000 applications every month. Replies read from your Gmail automatically.
There is no free plan in the ApplyASAP plan list. Cancel any time.
Activity tells you in plain sentences which companies we applied to, with the resume we sent. Open any application to see its whole story. Pause applying with one switch and nothing more is sent. Cancel your plan in Account and you are not charged again.
ApplyASAP vs Simplify is the side-by-side, with Simplify's prices in Simplify's units when a price was published. Other tools we read are on the alternatives hub.
A gap is not an accusation
We did not see a Simplify sentence that forbids adding a skill or a title during tailoring. Do not read the silence as a confession. Read it as something we could not verify, which is all the comparison claims as well.
Questions
- Is the free autofill a reason to keep Simplify?
- Yes, if a free autofill and tracker is what you wanted. ApplyASAP does not publish a free plan. A paid sender is not a substitute for a tool you can start without paying.
- Why are Simplify's prices not copied onto this page?
- Because this page is about the kind of product. The comparison already lists the published prices, in their units, and names the help-center page as the source after the pricing address itself was not available.
