ApplyASAP vs Careery

What each one says it does

In Careery's words (Careery home page): “We apply to jobs for you at US companies hiring now.” Source

ApplyASAP says the team sends the applications. We put your best foot forward. Most people undersell themselves, so we write up the skills and scope your role and level usually carry, in the words of each posting, and show you every skill we add so you can take any off. We never change your employers, dates, degrees or titles, and never invent numbers, certifications or people you managed. Every plan includes a resume tailored to each job, the application questions answered for you, and cover letters when a job asks for one. Made by Glearn Technologies, San Francisco.

Their pricing source

Where they differ

Careery describes managed applications on employer career sites, with a team that sets up the search and handles replies, sold as one payment that covers several months. ApplyASAP describes the same kind of help, a team that finds openings, tailors the resume to each posting and sends the application, sold month to month with a monthly number of applications. A payment for a fixed stretch of months and a plan you can leave each month are different commitments, so this page does not turn one price into the other.

Activity tells you in plain sentences which companies we applied to, with the resume we sent. Open any application to see its whole story. Pause applying with one switch and nothing more is sent. Cancel your plan in Account and you are not charged again.

What we could not verify

We did not see how many applications a Careery plan sends, or a published rule about what a rebuilt resume may never add. We also did not see whether a job the resume cannot support is skipped.
