Careery describes managed job applications: software submits on employer career sites while a team sets up your search, checks your materials, and handles replies, sold as one payment for a fixed stretch of months. ApplyASAP offers the same kind of help in a different shape. This page is for someone weighing the two who wants to know where they actually differ. It does not rank them, and it does not turn a payment for several months into a monthly saving.

Who might want a different shape of the same help

You would rather pay month to month. Careery publishes one payment that covers several months. If you want to be able to stop at the end of any month without having committed to a longer stretch, that is a real difference between the two offers.

You want to know how many applications go out. ApplyASAP publishes a monthly number of applications for each plan. If a count you can plan around matters to you, ask any managed service for theirs before you pay.

You only need the applications, not the extras. Careery's larger plan bundles a resume rebuild, a LinkedIn rewrite, and a video resume. If those are what you want, the bundle may suit you. If you only want the applications sent, a plan built around that may fit better.

How the two managed services differ

A fixed stretch of months, or one month at a time

Careery sells a block of time paid up front, with more time added on its larger plan if you have not found a job. ApplyASAP sells a month at a time that you can cancel. A block can suit someone who wants the decision made once. A month at a time can suit someone whose search might end quickly or change direction.

A bundle of extras, or the applications alone

Careery's larger plan adds work on your profile beyond applications. Every ApplyASAP plan includes a resume tailored to each posting, the application questions answered, and a cover letter when a job asks for one, but it does not bundle a profile rewrite or a video. Decide which of those you were actually shopping for.

Whether the resume rule is published

ApplyASAP writes down what tailoring may add and what it may never change: no new employers, dates, degrees, titles, numbers, or people you managed. We did not find a published line like that on the Careery pages we read. That is a gap in what we could check, not a finding about their work, and it is worth asking them about directly.

When ApplyASAP fits better

Read ApplyASAP if you want managed applications month to month, a published number of applications per plan, a resume tailored to every posting, and the resume rule in writing. Stay with Careery if you prefer one payment for a longer stretch and want the profile work bundled in. The prices under this paragraph are ApplyASAP's. Careery's prices stay on the comparison page as they published them.

What this page leaves to Careery

Nothing here says Careery fails at what it describes. There is no borrowed score and no count of people who switched. The open questions are the ones on the comparison page: how many applications a plan sends, a written rule about what a rebuilt resume may add, and whether an unsupported job is skipped. Their site is where to check. The date at the top is the day we read it.

Do Careery and ApplyASAP do the same thing?

Can I stop ApplyASAP after one month?
Yes. ApplyASAP plans are monthly. Pause applying with one switch, or cancel your plan and you are not charged again.
