What each one says it does

In Teal's words (Teal title and meta description): “Resume and job search tools. Create unlimited personalized resumes for every job you apply for..” Source

ApplyASAP says the team sends the applications. We put your best foot forward. Most people undersell themselves, so we write up the skills and scope your role and level usually carry, in the words of each posting, and show you every skill we add so you can take any off. We never change your employers, dates, degrees or titles, and never invent numbers, certifications or people you managed. Every plan includes a resume tailored to each job, the application questions answered for you, and cover letters when a job asks for one. Made by Glearn Technologies, San Francisco.

Where they differ

Teal presents itself as a resume builder and job tracker, not an auto-apply service and not as a service that sends applications for you. ApplyASAP's team finds openings and sends the applications. A free Teal tier is published; ApplyASAP's plan list has no free plan. Both products talk about a resume shaped for a job, and that is as far as the public lines overlap. Weekly, monthly, and ninety-day Teal prices are left in those units.

Activity tells you in plain sentences which companies we applied to, with the resume we sent. Open any application to see its whole story. Pause applying with one switch and nothing more is sent. Cancel your plan in Account and you are not charged again.

What we could not verify

Teal's public pages, as checked, do not describe submitting an application on your behalf. We do not treat the tracker as auto-apply.
